Possmei Syrups & Cheese Cream Powder: Build a Cafe-Style Drink at Home

The syrup is what actually gives a bubble tea shop drink its flavour and colour — the tea underneath is often just a base. And the thick, salted-cream layer floating on top of a lot of modern milk teas isn't cream at all; it's a specific instant powder made for exactly this. Here's what each Possmei product does, and exact amounts to use.

The four syrups

Blueberry, Litchi, Passion Fruit, and Strawberry — each one sweetens and colours the drink at once, the way bubble tea shops layer syrup at the bottom of a glass before pouring tea over ice on top.

Cheese cream powder: the salted top layer

Possmei Cheese Cream Powder whips up into a light, faintly salty foam that floats on top of iced tea instead of mixing in.

How to build a full drink — step by step (1 glass)

What you need:

  • 2 tablespoons (about 30ml) Possmei syrup, any flavour
  • 2–3 tablespoons popping boba or tapioca pearls (optional)
  • Ice
  • 200ml brewed tea (Thai tea, green tea, or plain black tea), cooled
  • 25g Possmei Cheese Cream Powder
  • 100ml cold milk (for the cheese foam)
  • A small pinch of salt (optional, for a saltier foam)

Steps:

  1. Pour the 2 tablespoons of syrup into the bottom of an empty glass.
  2. Add the popping boba or tapioca pearls on top of the syrup, if using.
  3. Fill the glass with ice.
  4. Slowly pour the cooled tea over the ice, filling to about 2cm from the top — leave room for the foam.
  5. In a separate small bowl or shaker, combine the 25g cheese cream powder with the 100ml cold milk.
  6. Whisk or shake briskly for 60–90 seconds, until it thickens slightly and turns light and frothy — it should hold its shape briefly on a spoon.
  7. Spoon the cheese foam gently over the top of the tea so it floats — don't pour it in or stir it, or it'll sink and mix through instead of sitting on top.
  8. Serve immediately with a wide straw, so you get a bit of foam, tea, and boba in every sip.
