Possmei Hojicha Milk Tea Premix is an instant powder for making smooth, creamy hojicha drinks in seconds. Hojicha is a roasted Japanese-style tea. The roasting gives it a warm, toasty taste with notes of caramel, nuts and cocoa, and far less bitterness than regular green tea or matcha.
Just mix with water and you get a café-style hojicha latte, hojicha milk tea or hojicha bubble tea. Serve it hot, or pour over ice. It works great with tapioca pearls, popping boba and jellies.
If you find matcha too grassy or bitter, hojicha is the easy, mellow alternative. Each 1 kg pack makes approximately 50 cups at 20 g per drink, so it suits both home use and cafés, bubble tea shops and restaurants.
▸ HOW TO USE
- Add 20 g of Hojicha Premix to a cup or shaker.
- Add about 20 ml of hot water and mix until fully dissolved.
- Hot hojicha latte: top up with about 100 ml of hot water and stir well.
- Iced hojicha latte: top up with about 100 ml of cold water, add ice and shake.
- Hojicha bubble tea: add your favourite tapioca pearls, popping boba or jelly.
- Adjust the powder, water or ice to your preferred strength and sweetness.
