Description
Youki Tianmianjiang (Sweet Bean Sauce) 1kg
Tianmianjiang, known in Japan as Tenmenjan, is a thick, glossy sweet bean sauce and an essential of Chinese cooking. Youki, one of Japan's leading makers of Chinese-style seasonings, makes this mellow, sweet-savoury version from fermented soybean paste for rich umami and a smooth finish.
It is the sauce behind Peking duck wraps, jajang and zhajiang noodles, mapo tofu, twice-cooked pork and countless stir-fries. Use it straight as a dip or glaze, or blend it into sauces and marinades.
This 1kg professional (gyomu-yo) jar is ideal for restaurants, cafés and cloud kitchens, and for home cooks who cook Chinese food often.
